a bunch of us went to the city for michele's birthday. i wanted to blog about it last night, but i couldnt be bothered :)
here's where we went and what we did:
§ kinokuniya (: i've never been there before and i didnt know it was so big! lol. its awesome. i bought michele a book as part of her birthday present. spent like an hour or so there hehe
§ sushi train where some of us bought lunch
§ QVB....walking around lol. then we decided we wanted to go to he food court. lol. so we headed over to myer across the road in the other shopping centre. when we entered the qvb from on end, the sky was blue, the clouds white and the sun was shining. when we walked out of the qvb on the other side, it was raining and the sky was grey :| LOL
§ we found a spot in the food court and had our lunch. sumo salad for me hahaha. yummm. then we wanted to go to the arcade, but it was in central/haymarket, which meant walking :P but i wanted to stop at the lolly shop first, because it was on the way out and everyone else needed some sugar as well ;] the name of the shop- "Sugar Fix" was enough. i bought michele two medium lollipops, instead of one huge one and a double dip for my brother (because i can be a nice sister sometimes) and a packet of american fruit chews called "Mike and Ike" LOL
§ then we walked all the way to market plaza. the rain had reduced to a drizzle and the sun was coming out again. outside the plaza was this busker guy, except he looked like he had just left his workplace (maybe out of boredom) and instead came to play music outside market plaza. thats what it seemed like because he was wearing businessy/work clothes. lol. anyway, he had beer bottles hung to a metal frame and other stuff. he was okay, except when he said he would play eye of the tiger, it sounded nothing like it. LOL. but he was reallllyyyyyy enthusiastic and excited and happy.
§ then we went in the plaza. first was morning glory where i got michele a keychain thingy 'cause she wanted one. lol. and there was this cute little frog plush toy. i really wanted one and so did michele, but it kind of wasnt worth it, for $25. lol.
§ then we went up two levels to where the second morning glory shop was, as well as galaxy world. we didnt spend much time in morning glory the second time round, but i got a diary/organiser thing for myself :)
the arcade was heaps of fun. michele dragged me over to the basketball thing first (hahahaha) where you have to get as many baskets as you can. there was this random guy playing and we ended up versing him. but he was taller so it was unfair :P he ended up first, me second and michele came third. we still got coupons though ;) then me michele and chris cheated on the crocodile game, where you have to hit them. michele had the hammer thingy and chris and i used our hands. lol. we got a new highscore of 97 hits :D and heaps of coupons hehehe. other games played included air hockey (yay), car racing (cant remember the actual name lol), this colour game thing, the fighting game and this shooting game. lol i cant remember the proper names. anyway it was tons of fun :)
§ i had to leave at four because mum didnt want me to get home too late. and the same was for chris and ishtiaq. so we walked to central station together. on the way to the station, there was this big green van parked on the side and people giving out free cans. they were promoting some new "sparkling apple juice" (ugh) called "Appletiser". lol. i was forcefully given TWO by the lady so i gave one to ishtiaq. haha. i tried some and it was okay but i wouldnt say its the best. :S then we were nearly at the station when we saw people playing the bagpipes. lol. then at the station, we had to wait like 15 minutes for the train.....then the train came and we got on etc etc. it was darkish when i got to kingswood, mum picked me up and yeah. thats the end lol. was a fun filled day.
hmm school tomorrow. at least we dont have exams until...ages. :]
